The staffs favourite spots

Centralbadet is a breath taking early 20th century spa just around the corner from the hostel. Good value for money, this is a budget luxury!

Hötorgshallen is the underground food market. There are delicacies from all over the world, including of course traditional Swedish dishes such as crayfish and graved salmon.

Slussen "A busy place were a lot of generous people pass by at all times. It’s the perfect location for a street musician! Then I spend all the money I just made at Debaser, my favourite club."

Kulturhuset. "A great place! They always have one free exhibition, you can have a coffee and a game of chess, and don’t miss Designtorget, it’s the perfect gift shop."

H&M Hamngatan. "Isn’t that very, very superficial? Saying it out loud gives me a stomach ache… I don’t want to be shallow, you see!"

Kungsholmen."The cliffs on Kungsholmen is my favourite summer swimming hole, but hanging out in cafés is what I do best!"

Montéliusvägen. "I love a late evening walk along Monteliusvägen on the edge of Södermalm, as the sun slowly sets over Stadshuset and the city centre."

Strömkajen "The archipelago is fantastic. It’s so beautiful. I tell all the guests, if they are going to do one thing in Stockholm, they should go out there."

Kungsträdgården. The most popular park in Stockholm, with a lot of free live acts in the summertime, and an ice skating rink in the winter.

Midsommarkransen. "Go to Skvallertorget and eat buns, they are the best in town! And if you are genuinely interested in music, go to Landet, the music scene where the small bands play before they become big."

Östermalms korvspecialist "Great if you are in to fine sausage. This is hot dog de luxe. You can’t get a hamburger here."
