We want to make sure that you can feel very safe at City Backpackers hostel. Click on the headers to see more.
Instead of keys we give each guest door codes to access the hostel and dorms. We change the door codes for
the entrance doors daily, and the door codes for the rooms every week, so that only our guests can get into the hostel.
For your luggage and valuables we have lockers in the rooms. Before and after check out you can use
the lockers in the corridors. Bring a padlock or buy one at the reception.
Our reception is manned until 24.00 (midnight). After that the staff walks around in the hostel to make sure everything is nice and quiet. And a security service checks the compound every night.
This is a security measure, even though we are located in one of the safest, mainly residential areas of Stockholm.
And the city itself is one of the safest cities in Europe.
All guest rooms and common areas are equipped with smoke detectors connected to a fire alarm, and the
whole hostel is covered by sprinklers.
See? Staying at City Backpackers you really don’t need to worry. The only thing you should worry about is going home!
